SUM Y OF VIOLATIONS CLASS I TLLASS I cr MINOR-Notice to Comply) This is a report of the Routine hazardous waste inspection conducted at the referenced facility by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). The following are Class II (Repeat): 122 & 125,301,407, and 610 122 & 125. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for February and December of 2011 were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by May 31,2012. 301. Observed absorbents and oily stains on the floor of the shop, and absorbent and rain water puddles with oily sheen next to engine parts outside the shop in the open on April 25, 2012. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up and manage the above waste according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Facility has picked up the absorbents and placed into container for further use, and scrubbed the floor and ground ouside with Zep Flash Concrete Floor Cleaner by April 30, 2012. Violation had been corrected on site. 407. About 60-70 55-gallon empty drums had no label. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Only two remained on site by April 30, 2012 but owner had no disposal receipt. Immediately manage all empty containers per this section and submit copy of receipt to EHD by May 31 ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
