CA 95202 <br /> In response to your inspection date of 10-26-99,we provide the following: <br /> Item 10 - 66262.11. The 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon can have all been opened and inspected. PJi <br /> liquid,which consists of acetone has been put in separate 55 gallon drums, labeled, sealed, and Safety <br /> Kieen Systems notified for pickup under manifest. They are scheduled to pickup 6-55 gallon drums of <br /> such liquid on January 4, 00. The remaining drums consist of solid or semi solid polyester resin. On <br /> 12-29-99 Mr. Lance Black, a Safety Kleen Systems Inc. representative, came to our facility to inspect <br /> these remaining drums. He will be handling the removal of these drums after a second inspection on <br /> January 4,00 which is performed by himself and a Field Chemist from Safety 10een Systems. At that <br /> time he will provide us with a formal cost proposal for removal from our premises. Removal will be <br /> completed within 2 weeks of his visit on January 4,2000. Manifests will be forwarded at that time. <br /> Item 19 - 25201(a) - After removal of the existing drums is performed this excess accumulation will <br /> never occur again. We are currently under a routine pickup program with Safety IQeen Systems at <br /> least every ninety days. Future pickups will involve two or three drums of spent acetone or superflush <br /> accumulated at our facility and disposed of as required . <br /> Item 2U-66262.34 Hazardcus Waste shaers arc.in supply at our facility and viii ire afUaxl is aii diur:its <br /> containing such materials. Our name, address, EPA ID number, contents and accumulation start date <br /> will appear on the label. General Manager Doug Howe, and Plant Manager Horaldo Sanchez are <br /> responsible for monitoring these waste containers on a daily basis. <br /> Item 21 - 66265.173(a) Part of the monitoring procedures by Doug Howe and Horaldo will be to <br /> assure that drums are closed except when adding or removing waste materials.
