4C. SECURITY <br />This section describes the basic security controls and procedures in place at the <br />facility. <br />The Gas Load Center is surrounded by a 8 -foot -high, chain-link fence topped with <br />barbed wire and razor ribbon. The yard perimeter and interior are fully illuminated at <br />dusk by automatic lights. There are two gates located around the yard's perimeter. <br />Gate #1 is a key or remotely activated gate that closes automatically. Gate #2 <br />remains closed at all times. All gates are locked after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends <br />and holidays. All buildings are locked when not in use. The pumps for the <br />aboveground fuel tanks are locked except during business hours. The facility has <br />infrared detectors at the fence perimeter with cameras monitored at the Distribution <br />Operator's Office ata the Stockton Service Center which is manned 24 hours per day. <br />In cases of weekend or after-hours, employees entering or leaving the facility <br />buildings re -lock all gates and doors. All employees are instructed to watch for <br />strangers at the facility and question them regarding any unusual activity. During <br />after-hours, employees are instructed not to open any doors and to call for help if any <br />strangers are seen at the site. <br />PG&E's Security Manual details standard PG&E security measures and is issued to <br />each facility supervisor. <br />UK( <br />
