As we discussed during our meeting,
California Health and Safety Code Section 25250.8(b)(1-9) requires that Independent Trucking, as
generator of the used oil, retain copies of the waste oil hauler receipts for three years. During your visit,
we provided you with copies of these receipts. As indicated in Code Section 25250.8(b)(7), it is the waste
oil hauler, not the generator, who must retain copies of the manifests for three years. I hope that our
discussion clarified our responsibilities under this section.
Please telephone me if you have any question regarding Independent Trucking Co.'s waste oil
management practices.
Sincerely,
fndependent'TruvLng Co.
/iA
r
N-
----n - - -z Eric-D.-Horton - tr. - .. - . -. . . - _ i--- r -=...=. - _ -
Environmental Compliance Officer
cc: file
i
