San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Dept. <br /> Subject: Jan 3, 2013 Inspection Report; Corrective action. <br /> 101. Valid EPA ID number received: CAL000381484 <br /> 108. Oily cardboard & oil absorbent granules has been removed and packaged in <br /> HD plastic bag to be sent to Small Business Hazardous Waste Program within the <br /> 180 day holding period. Future oil drips from forklift will be cleaned with <br /> absorbent and placed in HD plastic bag for disposal as above. <br /> 122 & 125. We have not had any acid spills in past three years of any <br /> consequence. Any small spills of 1-2 oz have always been neutralized with <br /> 'Battery Cleaner Spray' containing Sodium Bicarbonate. This procedure assures a <br /> neutral PH which is non- hazardous. See Picture of 'Spill Center' that has been <br /> established to store/contain materials. <br /> Any future disposals of a greater quantity of acid will be contained with absorbent <br /> and placed in HD plastic bags for disposal at SJ County facility. <br /> 305. Two large, 10ABC fire extinguishers have been replaced (1/17/2013) with <br /> new units, as old units were not cost effective to have pressure tested & refilled. <br /> These new extinguishers will be subject to annual inspection in Jan 2014. One <br /> small SABC charger was recharged by vendor with 1/16/2013 date attached. <br /> 703. Required information posted near main phone, copy enclosed. <br /> 703. Training records for by-annual safety/training sessions were on hand — new <br /> session was implemented 1/4/2013 to review inspection comments.
