Preparing Shipments <br /> Prior to shipping dangerous or hazardous materials (i .e. lead-acid <br /> batteries, some compressed gas cylinders, etc. ) the packaging <br /> needs to be adequate, and the package/drum/container needs <br /> to be properly labeled (with correct labels and classifications) . <br /> Ensure the correct labels are used and the correct information is <br /> on the labels <br /> The material also needs to be properly manifested (the papers <br /> that goes along with the shipment) <br />
