Two 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste hot tank sludge caustic soda did not have marked the <br /> specific hazardous property nor physical state on the hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> During the inspection the two 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste were marked solid for physical state <br /> and toxic for the hazardous property. Continue to ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked <br /> with all the required information. Class II Repeat Violation. Corrected on site. <br /> Note: Floor sweep and waste sand blast media are also added to the drum of hazardous waste sludge. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form with a statement of how each <br /> violation was corrected, including supporting documentation, by 10-8-11.
