The hazardous waste label on the <br /> used oil tank indicates that hazardous waste pick ups occurred specifically on 5-30-14, 7-24-14, and 9-30-14. Copies <br /> of hazardous waste disposal records for used oil for these dates were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators <br /> shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated <br /> manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of <br /> these three missing manifests and receipts, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. Continue to <br /> maintain disposal manifests and disposal records for three years. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> Review of disposal records and the dates listed on the hazardous waste used coolant tank indicate that the used <br /> coolant was on site from 2-24-14 to 8-14-14, from 1-5-14 to 8-25-15, and from 11-10-15 to 3-3-16.This indicates that <br /> the hazardous waste used coolant was on site for longer than 90 days on three separate occasions. Facilities who <br /> generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. Continue to <br /> ensure that any hazardous waste is properly disposed of within 90 days of the accumulation start date. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 4-14-16. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
