Cluff Ave. Lodi, CA 95240 Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Violations: #20, 23, 50, 79, 83, 84, 85. Corrected on site: #52. <br /> #20 The 55 gallon drum of used absorbent in the steam clean bay was not marked to indicate which <br /> hazardous property and lacked an accumulation start date. Containers of Hazardous Waste(HW) must <br /> be marked with the following: 1. Hazardous Waste 2. generator name and address 3. contents 4. <br /> physical state 5. hazardous property 6. accumulation start date. Correct immediately. Note: copy of HW <br /> labels and example provided. <br /> #23 Two 55 gallon drums of used filters lacked accumulation start dates_ One of these drums was left <br /> open. Containers for used oil filters must be labeled as "drained used oil filters", marked with an <br /> accumulation start date, and be kept closed. Correct immediately. <br /> #50 The 55 gallon drum of used absorbent in the steam clean bay was not marked with an accumulation <br /> start date. It cannot be determined how long this waste has been on site. The used coolant was marked <br /> with an accumulation start date of 2-8-10. This waste has been on site greater than 180 days. HW must <br /> be properly disposed of within 180 days of the accumulation start date. Correct immediately by properly <br /> disposing of these wastes per California Code of Regulation(CCR) Title 22 HW regulations. Submit a <br /> copy of the disposal manifest to this office by 9-13-10. <br /> #79 Approximately 20 universal waste(UW) lamps are not being stored in closed containers at the <br /> stairway of the machine room. UW lamps must be stored in a closed container and in a manner that <br /> prevents breakage and release to the environment. Correct immediately. <br /> #83 The used fluorescent lamps and used batteries were not labeled as universal waste. Universal <br /> waste must be labeled to identify type of universal waste. [ie: universal waste lamp(s), universal waste <br /> battery(ies)]. Correct immediately. <br /> #84 The universal waste lamps and batteries did not have documentation showing how long they have <br /> been a waste. The length of time the UW has been accumulated or was received must be demonstrated. <br /> Correct immediately. <br /> #85 Records for universal waste are not on site. A UW handler shall keep a record of each shipment of <br /> universal waste sent from the UW handler's facility to another facility. The record may take the form of a <br /> log, invoice, manifest, bill of lading or other shipping document.
