A part of LLNL's <br /> Chemistry,Materials, Earth&Life Sciences (CMELS)Directorate, <br /> supports the DOE,the Department of Defense, and the LLNL <br /> Emergency Operations Center by providing real-time assessments of <br /> the consequences from an atmospheric release of radioactive or toxic <br /> material. <br /> NAWAS National Warning System <br /> NFPA National Fire Protection Association <br /> NIMS National Incident Management System <br /> NNSA National Nuclear Security Administration <br /> O&B Operations and Business <br /> Operational Emergency A major unplanned or abnormal incident or condition that involves or <br /> affects DOE facilities (i.e.,LLNL)by causing or having the potential <br /> to cause serious health and safety or environmental impacts and <br /> requires additional resources to supplement the planned initial <br /> response. <br /> Operational State of the EOC, or any other emergency facility, once directed to <br /> activate,when activation steps have been completed,minimum <br /> staffing is present,and vital equipment is available to support the <br /> facility's operations. <br /> ORDO Occurrence Reporting Duty Officer <br /> P&I Planning&Intelligence <br /> PAG Protective Action Guide(radiological threshold).
