Box 808, L-668 <br />Livermore, California 94551 <br />Dear Mr. Fisher: <br />APPROVAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY PERMIT FOR THE <br />EXPLOSIVES WASTES TREATMENT FACILITY AT LAWRENCE <br />LIVERMORE NATIONAL LABORATORY - SITE 300, <br />EPA ID No. CA 2890090002 <br />The California Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Toxic <br />Substances Control (DTSC), has made a decision to issue a Hazardous Waste <br />Facility Permit for the Explosives Wastes Treatment Facility at Lawrence <br />Livermore National Laboratory - Site 300 near Tracy in San Joaquin County, <br />California. <br />This letter serves as a notification of our decision. Enclosed is a copy of <br />the permit signed and issued on October 9, 1997. This action constitutes a final <br />permit decision under Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Section <br />66271.14 (22 CCR 66271.14) and the permit will become effective <br />November 8, 1997 unless the permit decision is appealed. <br />A copy of the final administrative record for the decision is available for <br />review at our office in Berkeley.
