I <br />July 7, 2008 <br />Class 1 Public Notification of the Changes Implemented in the Lawrence Page 3 <br />Livermore National Laboratory's Hazardous Waste Facility Permit <br />(EPA ID No. CA2890012584) <br />SIX CLASS 1 PERMIT MODIFICATIONS TO THE LAWRENCE LIVERMORE <br />NATIONAL LABORATORY HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY PERMIT AND <br />THE PART B, OPERATION PLAN <br />The individual modifications that have been implemented are as follows: <br />1. Update the Part B Volumes by changing "Lawrence Livermore National <br />Laboratory (LLNL) Fire Department" to "Alameda County Fire Department." <br />2. Delete course RH5120-031, Gas Adsorption System (GAS) Unit, from the <br />Radioactive and Hazardous Waste Management (RHWM) Training Plan. <br />3. Update Training Records for Environmental Duty Officers (EDOs) by making <br />these two changes to the RHWM Training Plan: Replace EP8006, Environmental <br />Duty Officer (EDO) Refresher with EP8003-R, Environmental Duty Officer <br />(EDO) Refresher and deleting the requirement for EDOs and Environmental <br />Operations Division Environmental Analysts (EOD EAs) to take EP8003-005, <br />Emergency Sampling of Liquids and Solids. <br />4. Rename course RH5120-078, Shredder Chopper Unit as Shredding System and <br />course RH5070-001, Field Fingerprint Testing as Field Fingerprint Verification <br />Analysis. <br />5. Update the RHWM Training Plan to delete ten (10) obsolete job titles listed in <br />LLNL's February 22, 2008 permit modification notification. <br />6. Make the changes to the LLNL Main Site Part B Operation Plan for <br />organizational names as listed in LLNL's February 22, 2008 permit modification <br />notification. <br />PRA08-032 <br />
