Corral Hollow Road, Tracy <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />Routine Hazardous Waste Inspection <br />20. Hazardous waste labeling incomplete. One 55 gallon metal grey drum of oily solids located in the <br />high bay of Building 875 lacks type of hazardous property. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br />marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. <br />- Corrected onsite. WAA supervisor Ken marked "toxic" as the hazardous property. <br />999. CCR 66265.54 The contingency plan for this facility is outdated. The contingency plan located by <br />the WAA lists Rex Beach as one of the emergency coordinators. He has since retired approximately one <br />month ago. The contingency plan shall be reviewed, and immediately amended, if necessary, whenever <br />any of the following occur: <br />- applicable regulations are revised, - the plan fails in an emergency <br />- the facility changes in its design, construction, operation, maintenance, or other circumstance in a way <br />that materially increases the potential for fires, explosions, or releases of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents, or changes the response necessary in an emergency <br />- the list of emergency coordinators changes - the list of emergency equipment changes <br />Immediately amend the contingency plan for this facility to include the updated information, maintain a <br />current copy on site at all times. <br />Submit to SJC EHD within 30 days (07/20/11): <br />1. one copy of the completed "Return to Compliance Certification" form <br />2. a written corrective action statement for the above violations <br />Notes: <br />- Drained used oil filters and waste lead acids batteries Bill of Ladings are stored in Building 876 <br />Shipping/ Receiving <br />- In 2010 year, facility generated approximately 56,468 pounds of hazardous waste. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122). <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD Inspe or: <br />Receid B <br />Title: <br />5 I E Zoo MAw AG -EL <br />V <br />EHD 23-02-003 Rev 08/10/10 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
