i <br /> GROUND ZERO ANALYSIS, INC. <br /> 1714 Main Street (, <br /> Escalon,California 95320-1927 PSI j2 5 <br /> Telephone (209)838-9888 <br /> Facsimile (209)838-9883 <br /> August 14, 2001 <br /> Ms Lon Duncan <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report, 2"d Quarter 2001 <br /> Tuff Boy Trailers, 5151 Almondwood Drive, Manteca, CA, Site Code 1424 <br /> Dear Ms Duncan <br /> This letter report presents the results of the second quarter 2001 groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at the subject site(Figure 1) <br /> SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> Activities at the site included monitoring water level elevations, purging and sampling groundwater <br /> from site wells, analyzing samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEC, oxygenated gasoline additives, 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2- <br /> DCA), and ethylene dibromde(EDB), and disposing of groundwater purged from site wells <br /> F ELD WORK <br /> Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling <br /> Monitoring wells MW 1 through MW4 were monitored and sampled on June 29, 2001 Groundwater <br /> elevations were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to groundwater in each well from the <br /> respective wellhead elevation The depth to groundwater in the wells ranged from 6 43 to 7 29 feet <br /> below ground surface (bgs) Groundwater beneath the site rose an average of 0 16 feet since last <br /> measured on January 23, 2001 A potentiometnc surface map generated using the June 29, 2001 <br /> monitoring data is shown on Figure 2 The groundwater gradient on June 29, 2001 was relatively flat, <br /> at approximately 0 001 feet per foot, and groundwater flowed generally northeast, which is a slight <br /> shift from January 2001, when groundwater flowed to the east Groundwater monitoring data are <br /> summarized in Table 1 Monitoring data sheets are included in Attachment A <br /> 0 1Data1GROUNDZE1TuftBoylReporUs QMR12QM2001 doe <br />
