This was corrected on site by the Senior Park <br /> Worker. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> A 55 gallon blue plastic drum of drained used oil filters in the shed next to the gas pumps was observed without the <br /> lid closed completely and without an accumulation start date. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, <br /> stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date. Immediately close the container of drained used oil filters and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in <br /> this way. <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Since it cannot be determined <br /> how long the used drain oil filters have been on site immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and <br /> submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of <br /> lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters <br /> for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by July 9, 2018. <br /> Inspector provided Return to Compliance document, hazardous waste label guidance, Small Business <br /> Hazardous Waste Disposal Program brochure and flier for free CUPA classes. <br /> Waste Streams Observed: <br /> -Used oil <br /> -Drained, used oil filters <br /> -Used absorbent <br /> FA0006076 PR0514037 SCO01 06/08/2018 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.10/31/2017 Page 5 of 6 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
