10:50 — Move to area adjacent to fuel AST to pick up 2 empty drums of hydraulic fluid from EcoSafe® FR. <br />According to the manufacturer, this is a synthetic fluid designed to be "less flammable" in hydraulic <br />applications. MSDS sheets are attached. Empty drums were added to Environmental Logistics trailer for <br />transport off site on a Non -Hazardous manifest, waste tracking number N.H.M4057-B. <br />Empty EcoSafe® FR prior to removal <br />11:00 — Move to Mechanical Department Material Area. BNSF personnel removed three oil totes located in <br />the covered storage area from their containment pallets using a forklift. Environmental Logistics personnel <br />pumped out a small amount of oil from each of the three containment pallets and then pressure washed each <br />pallet. BNSF personnel then replaced the totes on the pallets. Three other unused containment pallets were <br />also pumped out and then pressure washed. All oily liquids were consolidated into drums and logged on <br />Hazardous Waste Manifest 010971134. <br />Other materials, empty drums (unused), oily rags, spent aerosol cans, lantern batteries and oily hoses were <br />removed from the Mechanical Material and car service areas. These materials were logged on Non Hazardous <br />Waste Manifest, tracking number N.H. M4057 -B and Bill of Lading M4056 -E2. Old, painted yellow drums <br />were removed from the car service area and replaced with new drums. New drums were also placed into the <br />Mechanical Material Area Haz-Mat shed for future use by onsite personnel.
