One
manifest was for the removal of cuttings from soil borings associated with the
investigation of the above site. Another manifest was for the shipment of an underground
tank which was exhumed from our Stockton rail yard. A final manifest was for the
shipment of an empty underground tank which was exhumed from our rail yard at
Pittsburg.
We also briefly discussed the status of construction activities at the Stockton rail yard.
As mentioned, a contract has been awarded for work which will be conducted during the
second and third quarters of this year. The work will include the removal of an
underground gasoline tank, an underground diesel tank, an underground tank car which had
formerly been used to collect oily stormwater runoff from the locomotive fueling area, the
construction of a new locomotive fueling area and the installation of an oil/water
separator with ultimate discharge to the City sanitary sewer.
I trust this provides you with all of the information that you were seeking. Should you
have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the above telephone number.
646192dr
R Santa Fe Southern Pacific Company
Very truly yours,
Mark P.
