The Complaint <br /> alleges business is dumping used oil onto the ground and have horrible environmental practices. The <br /> following are Class II (Repeat) / Minor Violations - Notice to Comply: #701, 804, 809, 907 <br /> 701. Observed only one disposal receipt for used oil in 2012, and generator admitted the used oil had <br /> been stored longer than 180 days in order to accumulate large enough a volume before calling for a <br /> pickup (though the current used oil in the used oil tank has not reached 180 days from start date of <br /> accumulation). Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not <br /> exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately <br /> begin managing all hazardous waste per this section. <br /> 804,809 At least six Universal Waste fluorescent lamps were stored in an open container marked with <br /> accumulation start date of 10/25/2011, and has therefore been stored on site longer than one year. <br /> Universal Wastes, including aerosol cans, lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, <br /> electronic devices, etc. shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the <br /> environment, labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste, demonstrate the initial date of accumulation, <br /> managed within one year of storage, and retained a copy of the disposal receipt for at least 3 years on <br /> site. Immediately dispose of the above Universal Waste - lamps and submit a copy of the disposal <br /> receipt to EHD by 2/11/2013.
