A paper oil filter was also observed in the drum. The date was corrected on site and the oil paper filter was <br /> removed. <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used <br /> oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Ensure that all drained used oil filters are properly managed. <br /> Outside: <br /> One black 55 gallon steel drum containing punctured metal oil filters was observed with an accumulation start date <br /> of 8/30/2017. <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters <br /> under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by January 13, 2018. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
