r i EIVEL !IJN 12 2015 The following is ars itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for AMERICAN TIRE &TRUCK REPAIR as of February 17, 2015. iONMENN Open violations from October 15,2014 inspection Violation#406 -Contaminatedcontainer not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. A 15 blue steel drum which previously held gear oil was observed in the southeast yard with no empty labeling. A 20 gallon white steel drum was observed in the steel shed with no empty labeling; according to Mr. Bassi,the steel shec is where he stores all of his containers of oil and other products once they are empty. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. This Is a repeat violation, Class 11. Violation#606-!railed to'completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. A 5 gallon blue plastic bucket containing oily water was observed in the parking lot in front of the facility without a label_ A 5 gallon blue plastic bucket containing a pourable amount of used oil, and two drain pans of used oil were observed unlabeled in the shop; according to Mr. Bassi,the drain pans were from oil changes earlier this week_ A black plastic container and clear plastic container of oily water were observed in the yard behind the shop without labels. A 55 gallon steel drum containing water mixed with grease was observed in the yard west of the south storag building without a label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: -the words"Hazardous Waste" -name and address of generator -hazardous properties(ignitable, corrosive, reactive,toxic) physical state(liquid, solid) -composition (contents) -accumulation start date Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since it cannot be determined how long these containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHa. This is a repeat violation, Class 11- Violation LViolation#608-Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. Two used oil filters were found in an open, unlabeled black plastic container in the yard behind the facility_ Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as""drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date.
