• Maintain maximum profits of the department with expense control and efficiency to <br /> achieve acceptable profit margins. <br /> • Respond to customers in person or by telephone, whenever required.May require <br /> responding after normal working hours. <br /> • Resolve questions from members in the Service, Sales and Parts Departments as required. <br /> Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers. <br /> • Maintain a good working relationship with all other departments. <br /> • Prepare required documentation accurately and timely. <br /> • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology. <br /> • Read and interpret instruction manual and pertinent literature. <br /> • Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies and rules. <br /> • Other duties may be assigned by the Department Supervisor, Department Manager or the <br /> General Manager. <br /> • Overtime work may be required in this position. <br /> Supervisory Responsibilities: <br /> • Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise other employees in the Parts Department <br /> and Service Department. Is responsible for the overall direction,coordination, and <br /> evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises other non-supervisory employees. <br /> • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and <br /> applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing,hiring, and training employees; <br /> planning, assigning,and directing work;appraising performance; rewarding and <br /> disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. <br /> Qualifications Requirements: <br /> • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential <br /> duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, <br /> skill,and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable <br /> individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <br /> Education and/Or Experience: <br /> • Associate's Degree(AA)or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two <br /> years to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent,combination of <br /> education and experience. s, <br /> MAY 15 2015 <br /> Language Skills: <br /> • Ability to read,analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial <br /> reports, and legal documents. <br /> • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,regulatory <br /> agencies,or members of the business community. <br /> • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or <br /> boards of directors. <br /> 2 <br />
