Moved from 940 Central Ave. <br /> Minor/ Notice to Comply violation: 122,125 <br /> Repeat/ Class II violation: 108 <br /> 108. Metal fines generated from brake rotor grindings are being recycled as scrap metal without first <br /> determining particle size or hazardous properties. A scrap metal recycler TATA located in Stockton, CA. <br /> is picking up the metal fines. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a <br /> hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling metal fines to metal recycler, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for the metals , and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a <br /> hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed. <br /> -At inspection time, Phil sweeping metal fines into closed 5 gallon container <br /> 122 & 125. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for 2011 and 2012 used oil were not found on <br /> site. Since the relocation, Asbury had two waste oil pick ups. Only one receipt from December 2011 was <br /> found. Unable to locate disposal receipt for February 2012. Hazardous waste generators shall retain <br /> copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated <br /> manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review.
