Immediately close <br />these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />406 <br />CCR 66261.7(f) Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br />Two empty white poly 55 gallon drums on the west side of the shop had an empty date of 11-8-13 and were not <br />managed within a year .Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked <br />with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all <br />empty containers per this section. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />601 <br />CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br />A blue 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze had a start accumulation date of 3-4-15. Facilities who generate less than <br />1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store <br />waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br />manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />
