HSA 94/95-028
Dear Mr. Monroe:
PETE WILSON, Governor
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has
completed review of the Preliminary Endangerment Assessment (PEA)
dated September 18, 1995, for the subject Site. DTSC provided
guidance and/or oversight for the development and implementation
of the PEA.
The referenced Site has been used as a circuit board
manufacturing facility from 1982 to 1992. Soil and soil gas
sampling and analysis were conducted for heavy metals and
suspected volatile organic compounds. The PEA compared the
chemical levels found in samples with health based criteria for
unrestricted land use and evaluated the threat of these chemicals
to public health and the environment.
Based upon DTSC's review of the PEA, the Site does not
appear to pose a threat to human health or the environment under
any land use. Therefore, DTSC determines that no further action
is necessary with respect to investigation and remediation of
hazardous substances at the Site.
EG:kh
C:1wp51 \COLER\EG19-095
,1
P -1m
