Box 2047
Fremont, CA 945',&2847
Under section 25250.1 of the California Health and Safety Code, as
I understand that Section, the Used oil examined by me, noted as
Item 3, and reported as not "hazardous or toxic" is precisely as I
reported.
The oil was used oil with a "FlashnointM above 100 plus F A Ph 7
indicating no detectable hydroxide or acid contaminants. Hence no
metal contaminants as would be indicated by a Ph of other than 7.
No indication of volatile compounds evaporating from the containers
was noted which indicates no solvents present. No odor was noted.
This interpretation of the Code is based on Section 25250.4 and
Section 25250.1 as identified above.
I may be incorrect in -my interpretation of the California code
Sections and am always willing to learn something new. Perhaps the
item should have been identified as "used oiltr?
Please call me if I can be of any further assistance.
sincerely,
o Cummings
P incipal
cc: James J.
