Soo Hoo,
Director
Department of Toxic Substances Control
P. 0. Box 806
Sacramento, California 95812-0806
Re: San Joaquin County District Attorney
Enforcement of Circuit Works Toxic Cleanup
Dear Mr. Soo Hoo;
Please be advised that my law firm represents Mr.
Earl Pellegrini, an owner of certain real property
located at 152 Frank West Circle in Stockton which had
previously been occupied by a business known as Circuit
Works.
I have been in contact with Mr. David Irey of the
San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office who is
involved with the investigation of certain toxic
contamination at the Circuit Works site. The issues
relative to this contamination was recently brought to my
and my client's attention, and we are presently working
with Mr. Irey so as to cooperate in his and other
agencies efforts to take remedial measures as regards the
contaminated site.
Given the fact that my client lives in Southern
California, and was not aware of the problems associated
with his property, I have been attempting to contact past
employees of Circuit works so as to have these employees
identify certain substances that have been left at my
client's premises. The purpose of my contacting Mr. Jay
Hansen, the owner of Circuit Works is to enlist Mr.
Hansen's cooperation in identifying certain toxic
substances without the need to test these substances. As
you can appreciate this will result in a great amount of
economic savings to my client that can be directed toward
the clean up of the site versus the identification of
chemicals.
