Michelle Le ip,(
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist ✓ `
Environmental Health Department
San Joaquin County 2
304 E. Weber Avenue, 3rd Floor
Stockton, CA 95202-2708 FRS CFS ry
June 15, 2007
Dear Michelle,
We have responded to every item listed on your inspection reuort in the following ways
LINE 20
When you visited us on May 17th,you sited line #20-failed to properly label containers of
hazardous waste. This was because of 1-30 gallon drum in our paint room and 2-30 gallon drums
In our storage room. These items were properly labeled and then removed from our grounds on
June 5th. The removal was by Rineco Waste Management of Benton,Arkansas. (See enclosed
manifest).
LINE 77
We were also sited for line #77-for having universal waste on site for more than one year. Our
numerous flourescent tubes in unlabelled wooden boxes caused this. The boxes are now labeled
and are contained with lids. Clean Harbors removed all of these tubes on June 15th. (See enclosed
manifest).
LINE 91
We were sited for 8 - 55 gallon drums in the storage room and 3 - 55 gallon drums in the yard.
The 8 drums were removed by Rineco on June 5th (See enclosed manifest). And the 3 from the
yard were removed by Clean Harbors June 15th (See enclosed manifest).
LINE 88
This line sited us for 3-30 gallon drums of paint waste which had no accumulation start dates and
needed to be removed immediately under a manifest. This occurred on June 5th. (See enclosed
manifest).
LINE 90
This stated that our contingency plan was incomplete. We filled it out and posted it above the
phone closest to the generated waste on May 21st. (See attached photos).
I hope this demonstrates that we have brought our practices into compliance with your offices.
Sincerely,
"Louarreiro
CBS Outdoor
2050 W.
