All hazardous waste containers shall be marked <br /> with the following information. <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste' <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties (toxic, corrosive, reactive, or flammable) <br /> - physical state (liquid or solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> it cannot be determined how long the 30 gallon drum of paint waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by September 28, 2015. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br /> your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br /> activities and required fields. <br /> Notes: Conducted a routine hazardous waste inspection. Permission granted by Norma Cortes. Norma stated that <br /> she had a tragic event that led her to close her business from 2009 to 2015. The facility had paint waste on site <br /> since 2009. Norma stated that the waste has not been hauled off since the last disposal record provided dated <br /> 6/30/09. The facility did not have bondo dust on site at the time of inspection, but discussed management of the <br /> bondo dust for future reference with Norma. As of right now, the paint booth is not being used. Norma stated that <br /> she may use the paint booth in the future. Discussed storage time for hazardous waste, management of <br /> hazardous waste, retention of disposal records for 3 years and account balance.
