Each waste for which a waste determination has been approved <br /> will be listed on the Waste Matrix provided in Appendix S. <br /> 8.6.1.8. Documentation associated with the waste characterization,i.e. <br /> analytical results, knowledge of process,material safety data <br /> sheets(MSDS),must be maintained on-site. <br /> 8.6.1.8.1. MSDS sheets are maintained remotely via the 3E <br /> contract and available as posted throughout the <br /> facility. <br /> 8.6.2. Waste Profiles <br /> 8.6.2.1. A Waste Profile Sheet must be generated by the waste broker and <br /> approved by C&S for each Regulated Waste Stream prior to off- <br /> site shipment. Refer to Appendix U. <br /> 8.6.2.2. Each waste for which a waste profile sheet has been approved <br /> will be listed on the Waste Matrix provided in Appendix S. <br /> 8.6.3. Waste Matrix <br /> 8.6.3.1. A waste matrix which include the following information is <br /> included in Appendix S: <br /> 8.6.3.1.1. A unique identification(ID)number for each waste <br /> generated at C&S facilities; <br /> 8.6.3.1.2. A description of the waste; <br /> 8.6.3.1.3. The date of the waste determination; <br /> 8.6.3.1.4. The waste determination method(s); <br /> 8.6.3.1.5. Associated federal(RCRA)or state waste codes <br /> 8.6.3.1.6. DOT label requirement;and <br /> 8.6.3.1.7. Other pertinent information,as appropriate. <br /> 8.6.4. Department of Transportation(DOT)Requirements <br /> 8.6.4.1. Packaging-The waste must be packaged in containers that meet <br /> the requirements of 49 CFR 173, 178 and 179. <br /> 8.6.4.2.
