A 5 gallon container of used antifreeze was observed in the maintenance area without a <br /> hazardous waste label. All containers of hazardous waste shall be labeled with the following: <br /> 1) Words 'Hazardous waste' <br /> 2) Generator name & address <br /> 3) Accumulation start date <br /> 4) Contents <br /> 5) Physical state <br /> 6) Hazardous properties <br /> Oil was placed into a properly labeled hazardous waste drum in storage area. Label was changed to <br /> empty daily. Used antifreeze was labeled at time of inspection. <br /> - Modified contingency plan was not available at time of inspection. Template provided by EHD was <br /> completed and posted near a telephone. <br /> - A container of universal waste batteries was observed in the maintenance area without an <br /> accumulation start date. A container of waste aerosol cans was observed without an accumulation start <br /> date or the words 'universal waste.' Universal waste shall be stored in a container that prevents <br /> potential breakage or leakage and shall be labeled as Universal Waste, with the type of waste and the <br /> accumulation start date and shall be properly disposed of within one year of that date.
