Submit an annual self-certification document to be completed by the facility and sent to
the local oversight agency that would state all conditions of their operation remain the same.
3. Obey all applicable laws and regulations.
Unified Program agencies would continue to address any complaints at those facilities and
would "spot" check a predetermined quantity of facilities each year. Unified Program
agencies would bill those facilities for the necessary and reasonable costs of implementing
such a program. The compliance program will not of course,be mandated. However, should
a CUPA/PA choose, they will have the option to implement the program with DTSC's
concurrence.
We are seeking your Department's approval, in writing, of this compliance process, and
welcome any questions or comments that you have regarding our proposal. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at(323) 890-4043.
Sincerely yours,
WILLIAM JONES, CHAIRMAN
CAL-CUPA FORUM BOARD
c: Cal-CUPA Forum Board
Don Johnson
return,t4 top
horn I I organization I I issues I l meet Ings 11 notice
training 11 regions 11 Uig s
http://www.calcupa.net/notices/nt037.htm 12/7/00
