CLEANING UP SMALL SPILLS - 1s
As you apply the FM 186-2 to a spill, you will notice that a bubbling action takes place.
Continue mixing until the bubbling stops. In warmer weather, this action happens
quickly and in cooler weather it is slower. As long as you see bubbling, your mixture is
incomplete so continue to mix vigorously. REMEMBER, THE LARGER THE SPILL
THE LONGER IT WILL TAKE TO PROPERLY COMBINE THE SPILL AND FM 186-2.
(See pg 8, paras 2.4-2.7)
t°i;..;suJ
ikcu}}5:' }r2xlim.va7a2if•3f'iLcflitt u'36ia4ru:xfa = e.°'i{J+iSaY3t.eLL.-., :tr}Z..ar 3a..W!:.
Lay absorbent pads over the entire spill area and let thepads soak up the mlkture.
Move the pads around to assist in soaking up the solution.
