Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities <br />that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these <br />filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br />A black/red 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters behind the shop on the south side did not have disposal records <br />for the last three years. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one <br />year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately <br />recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by September 14, 2016. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
