Pacific Coast MS Indust Management ProcedfflK <br />C9.9 Emergency Response <br />Aim <br />To insure that Emergency Response is handled in a manner to minimize or eliminate <br />environmental impact <br />Responsibility <br />All team members are responsible for reporting emergency conditions that may have an <br />environmental impact to their supervisors. Supervisors will assess the situation and <br />containment requirements before notifying their Department Managers. Department <br />Managers will then take action required to minimize environmental impacts. If an <br />environmental impact has occurred then the Facilities Manager and the VP must be <br />notified. <br />Method <br />Read and understand the operational process control <br />Follow the directions provided in the process control <br />Report to supervisor if unable to comply with the directions of the process control for any <br />reason. <br />Records <br />N/A <br />References <br />None Applicable <br />Operational Procedure for: Emergency Response <br />• Spills or leaks are to be contained as soon as possible <br />• Shut off pumps and close valves as necessary to stop leaks and spills <br />• Extinguish fires call 911 for emergency assistance <br />• Clean up spills using absorbents and or clean up equipment <br />• Store spilled materials in proper containers with labels as they are cleaned up <br />• Inform Management Representative that materials are stored for further action <br />• Use necessary PPE for the spill or clean up activity <br />• Take action quickly to prevent Environmental impacts <br />Emergency Response Phone #'s <br />Fire Department Tracy Ca.........................................................911 <br />Management Representative ......
