9.0 EMERGENCY NOTIF <br /> TION PROCEDURE & CONTACPERSONS <br /> 9.1 Any employee or contractor who discovers an emergency condition must <br /> immediately report the incident to the Weighmaster at Extension 6200, This <br /> number is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. <br /> 9.2The notified individual shall obtain the following information from the caller : <br /> 9.2.1 Type of emergency <br /> 9.2.2 Specific location of emergency. ' <br /> 9.2.3 Number of people or amount of material involved. <br /> 9.2.4 Types of injuries. <br /> 9.2.5 Action currently being taken. <br /> 9.2.6 Callers name and extension calling from. <br /> 9.3The Weighmaster shall notify: <br /> 9.3.1 Public emergency response agencies, i.e. 9-1 A. <br /> 9.3.2 The Shift Supervisor by phone or radio. <br /> 9.3.3 Other ERT's as requested by the supervisor, via telephone or radio. <br /> 9.4 Once an emergency has been declared, the Production Shift Supervisor is in <br /> charge of all operations and directs all emergency response activities until <br /> relieved by the scene manager or IC. <br /> 10.0 EVACUATION PROCEDURE <br /> 10.1 Buildings will be evacuated in the event of fire/explosions, earthquakes, or <br /> chemical spills. <br /> 10.2 Evacuations will be initiated by determination of the Production Shift Supervisor. <br /> 10.2.1 Alarms can be activated manually by the Weighmaster or by Production Shift <br /> Supervisor in Substation#4. <br /> 10.3 General employee evacuation procedures are as follows : <br /> 10.3.1 When the evacuation intermittent alarm is sounded, immediately go to the <br /> nearest exit, ascertain wind direction and evacuate to pre-determined safe <br /> refuge as defined on emergency card next to each plant telephone. <br /> 10.3.2 Do not stop for personal belongings. Do not run or smoke during <br /> evacuations. <br /> 10.3.3 Know alternate routes and exits. <br /> ERT Contingency Plan Page 9 06/24/99 <br />
