Met with Ward Wolleson and John Yanak of Simplot. They W.NG
showed me the area of the spillage and explained that it-was caused by an employee
error when filling a tanker truck. The acid was picked up using sand thof is normally used in
their process as filler and will be returned to the process. The ground was swept up and
then rinsed into a catch basin that flows into a pump which sends the liquid to their lined
pond. Acid was contained on asphalt and did not impact soil.
ER RECORD MODIFIED Page 4 of 4 05/01/2007
