INTRODUCTION <br /> J.R. Simplot contracted with HMT Inspection, a division of HMT Inc. to provide <br /> inspection services for Tank No. 8. The tank is located at the Lathrop Facility in Lathrop, <br /> CA. <br /> This report documents the findings of the inspections performed on August 27-28, 2008 <br /> and provides an evaluation of the inspection results per the applicable criteria of API <br /> Standard 653. <br /> The owner 1 user is responsible for establishing the suitability for service of Tank No. 8 <br /> based on the applicable criteria of API 653. This report provides details on current <br /> condition from inspection that can be used as a basis in satisfying this requirement if the <br /> following conditions are met: <br /> I The recommendations in Section 2.0 Summary, Repair <br /> Recommendations and Post-Repair Findings of this report are reviewed, <br /> evaluated and implemented (or a decision is made by responsible owner 1 <br /> user representatives to take no further action) prior to return to service <br /> and documentation of actions taken (or not taken) is provided for in tank <br /> records. <br /> 2 The safe fill height recommendations in Section 2.0 Summary, Repair <br /> Recommendations and Post-Repair Findings of this report are adhered <br /> to. <br /> HMT Inspection provided the following personnel: <br /> Matthew K.
