LDMS 10601 North Pennsylvania
Travel Stops P.O. Box 26210
Oklahoma City, OK 73126
Mr. Dennis Catanyag
August 12, 2005
Page 2
Sensor L-28 (Diesel Mid Sump T1) went into fuel alarm on 1/30/05. The alarm
cleared in less than one minute. Store personnel investigated and found no liquid in
the sump.
L-40 (Dispenser Pan 13-14) went into alarm on 7/13/05. There is no record in our log
of this alarm. However, our certified operator was there on 7/20/05 and noted that the
sump was dry.
• There was liquid observed in the diesel turbine sumps and the sensors were not set in
the lowest point of the sump.
On August 9, 2005, an Afforda-Test technician removed the liquid from the sumps
and placed in the onsite liquid disposal drums. He also lowered the sensors to the
lowest point in each of the sumps.
• The Designated Operator Inspection Reports for January 2005 through May 2005
were not available.
Copies of these reports are attached. As we discussed, ATG printouts with dates
corresponding to dates of the monthly inspections are not available.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
Thank you for your help,
Chris Weldon
Registered Environmental Manager#11963
Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores, Inc.
(800) 388-0983 / loves com / "clean places, friendly faces"
