The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for JAHANT FOOD N FUEL STOP as of August 01, 2018. <br /> Open violations from April 12,2018 inspection <br /> Violation#109-Failed to send generator manifest copies to DTSC within 30 days. <br /> Generator copies of manifest numbers 003371363GBF, dated 3/7/17 was not sent to DTSC within 30 days of <br /> shipment of hazardous waste. The generator manifest copy shall be submitted to DTSC for every shipment on a <br /> manifest when California is either the generator state or the destination or consignment state. The generator <br /> manifest copy shall be mailed to: <br /> DTSC Generator Manifests <br /> P.O. Box 400 <br /> Sacramento, CA 95812-0400 <br /> Immediately mail a copy of the manifests listed and ensure that copies of all generator manifests are sent to DTSC <br /> within 30 days of shipping hazardous waste. <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> A 50 gallon blue steel hazardous waste container and a 25 to 30 gallon silver aluminum hazardous waste container, <br /> stored inside a large red shipping container located northwest of the store,west of the diesel dispensers,were <br /> labeled with accumulation dates that were over 180 days old. The 50 gallon container had an accumulation date of <br /> 4/8/10 and the 25 to 30 gallon container had an accumulation date of 5/6/04. Facilities who generate less than 1000 <br /> kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste <br /> on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br /> manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> Violation#605-Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A 25 to 30 gallon silver aluminum hazardous waste container, stored inside a large red shipping container located <br /> northwest of the store,west of the diesel dispensers,was not completely labeled.The container did not have the <br /> name and address of the generator,the contents/composition,the physical state or hazardous properties of the <br /> waste stored. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
