EXHIBIT C: SUPPLEMENTAL ENVmONMENTAL PROJECTS <br />If the Supplemental Environmental Project payrnent is accepted by the designated emilY , the entity <br />shall provide annuallcucr reports, until the exhaustion of the funds describing the specific use or the <br />funds. Th e repons sha ll be submitted to the Plaintiff s representatives of thi s Judgment. <br />Acceptance of the payment by th e designated e ntit y sha ll extinguish Wal-Man's obligations under <br />this Judgment for that spec ific Supplemental Environmental Proj ect. <br />I. Craig Thompson Environmental Protection Prosecution Fund. Wal-Mart shall provide <br />Five Ilundrcd ThoLlsand Dollars ($500,000.00) to be used by th e Craig Thompson Environmental <br />Pr otection Prosecution Fund ("'EPPF Fund") for purposes consis tent \.vit h the Tru st's mission. <br />2. California CUPA Forum Board. Wal-Mart shall provide the amount of One Million <br />Dollars ($ 1,000,000.00) to th e En vi ronmenta l P'r o te ction Prosecution Trust Fund, which is <br />administered by the California Certified Unified Program Agency (CU PA) Forum Board, to be used <br />by that Board for purposes consistent with th e Trust's mission. A portion of th ese fund s would be <br />used to educate both the regulatory inspecto r community and the regulated community as to <br />common issues when inspecting large retail facilities for hazard ous waste and hal"..ardous material <br />compliance. <br />3. California Hazardous Materials Investigators Association (CHMIA). Wal-Mart shall <br />provide Two Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00 ) to be used by th e C HMIA <br />Board to fund partia l scholarships to their annual training. <br />4. California Hazardous Material Investigators Association (CHMIA) for California <br />Advanced Environmental Criminal Training Program (Cal-AECTP). Wal-Mart s hall provide <br />Four Hundred and Five Thou sa nd Dollars ($405,000.00) to be used to help fully fund Twenty Four <br />(24) scholarships each year for the next four (4) years for this training. Each of these sc holarship s <br />sha ll cover conference registration, travel, food, lodging and incidentals. <br />5. California Ha7..ardous Materiallnvcstigators Association (CHMIA) for California <br />Specialized Training Institute -Environmental Crimes Course.
