The mon ey paid to the Attorney Gem:ral pu rsuant 10 Pa ragraph 4.4, sha ll b e administered by the California Depanment of Justice and sha ll be used by the En vironment Section of the Publi c Rights Division o f the Att orney General's Offi ce, until all fund s arc exhausted, for any of the foll owing purposes : (I) implementati on of the Atto rn ey General's authority to pr otect Ihe environment and natura! re sou rces of the State pursuant to Government Codc sec tion 12600 et seq. and as Chief La w Officer of lhe State o f California pursuant to Artick V, sect ion \3 of the Californ ia Cons ti tut io n; (2) enforcement of Jaws re lated to environmental protecti o n, includin g, but not limited to, Chap te rs 6 .5 and 6.95, Di v isio n 20, of the C alifornia Health and Safety Code; (3) enforcement o flhe Unfair Co mpetitio n Law, Business and Professions Code section! 7200, et seq., as it relates to protection of the environm ent and natura! resources of the Slate of California; and (4) other env ironmental actions which benefit the State of Cali fornia and its c itizen s as determined by the Attorney General. Such funding may be us ed for the costs of the Attorney Gen eral's investigatio n, filin g fees and other cou rt costs, paym ent to expert witnesses and technical consultants, purchase of equipm en t, laboratory anal yses, personnel costs, tTave l costs, and other costs necessary to pursue environmental actions investigated or initiated by th e Anomey General for the benefit of the Stat e of Ca li fomi a and its citizens. The payment, and any imerest derived Iherefrom shall solely and exc lu sively au g ment the budget of the Attorney Exhibit D to St ipulation for E ntry of Final Judgment o n Consent in People v.
