Hazardous Waste Pickups in Addition to Large Quantity and Small Quantity <br />Generator Requirements <br />S in ce January 2007, Wal-Mart ha s pcrfonned additional hazardous waste pi ck-up s at <br />Wal-Mart Stores and C lubs in California , ge nera lly once eve ry 30 days. The cost of th ese <br />addit ional pick-ups has been in excess of$55 ,000 per month , or $660,000 pe r yea r. Over th e <br />pa st three years (2007 -2009), Wal -Mart has spenl a t least $1.5 million to per fo rm addit io nal <br />hazardous waste pickups for its fac ili ties in Califo rni a. <br />Wal -Mart intends to continue th ese additional pick-ups after the cnlry o f the Slipulatcd <br />J udgme nt.
