Four partially full oil containers, seven partially full aerosol cans, and two partially full paint cans were left among the junk and trash behind the minimart without first determining hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop accumulating containers of oil, aerosols, and paint among the junk and trash, make a hazardous waste determination for the waste oil, aerosols, and paint, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by March 5, 2014. 301. Outside behind the mini mart, oil has spilled from a partially full container of oil onto the surrounding concrete. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the spilled oil, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by March 5, 2014. 405. The employee Mayra Lopez stated that the drums of hazardous waste behind the mini mart are only checked several times a year. Containers of hazardous waste must be inspected weekly. Correct immediately by ensuring that the containers of hazardous waste are inspected weekly. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form with a statement of how each violation was corrected including supporting documentation by March 5 2014. ALL END STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
