Please be advised that the following issues have been <br /> addressed: <br /> Four partially full oil containers,seven partially full aerosol cans,and two partially full paint <br /> cans were left among the junk and trash behind the minimart without first determining <br /> hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a <br /> hazardous waste. Immediately stop accumulating containers of oil,aerosols,and paint <br /> among the junk and trash,make a hazardous waste determination for the waste oil,aerosols, <br /> and paint,and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br /> statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by March <br /> 5,2014. The area behind the minimart has been cleaned and a photograph is attached for your <br /> review and records. On February 7,2014 our franchisee,Promod Trehan,took the waste to an <br /> authorized waste facility. A copy of the Certificate of Recycling is attached for your review and <br /> records. <br /> Outside behind the mini mart,oil has spilled from a partially full container of oil onto the <br /> surrounding concrete. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility <br /> of a fire,explosion,or release of hazardous waste to air,soil,or surface water which could <br /> threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the spilled oil,and manage <br /> according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed by March 5,2014. The spilled oil <br /> behind the minimart has been cleaned and disposed of properly. A photograph is attached for your <br /> review and records. <br />
