If you or your business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more <br />than one kg of acutely hazardous waste, then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State <br />ID number. <br />Immediately obtain an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />104 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) No modified contingency plan. <br />An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is not posted by the facility telephone. There <br />must be at least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the <br />following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator, <br />location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alar; and the phone number of the fire <br />department, unless the facility has a direct alar. Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the <br />required information by a phone. A for is provided that can be used for this purpose. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />One five gallon container of used oil was not labeled. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the <br />following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the <br />complete report which replaces the initial checklist. <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
