t2.2 Quarterly Monitoring Results
A summary of the analytical results of the samples collected during the quarter is displayed in
Table 1 while the complete analytical reports are presented in Appendix B To provide a review
of trends in the analytical data, Table 2 presents a chronological record of the sampling results
' of all previous sampling events at the site All sample numbers correspond to the well from
which they were taken except for two quality assurance samples Sample MW -10 is a duplicate
of primary sample MW -2 and sample MW -11 is a field decontamination procedure check sample
' collected after sampling monitor well MW -2 Both of the quality assurance samples were
analyzed only for TPH-G compounds as BTEX compounds have not recently been found onsite
NA = Not analyzed
As shown on Table 1, there were no hydrocarbon compounds found in the groundwater at the
site during this quarter This current finding is consistent with the historical data as no BTEX
compounds have been found onsite since June of 1993 (and then only in well MW -2) For TPH-
G, this is the first sampling event where no concentrations were found in any wells In the past,
TPH-G has been found consistently in well MW -2 and sporadically in MW -3
Regarding the QA samples, repeatability of non-detectable results was found between the field
duplicate (MW -10) and the primary well sample (MW -2) The decontamination check sample
(MW -11), collected after sampling MW -2, showed no detectable compounds present in field
equipment after completion of a standard field decontamination procedure
