Lindsay St., on June 30, 2005, the San Joaquin <br /> Regional Transit District (RTD) was issued a Notice to Comply with a deadline <br /> of July 30, 2005. This letter constitutes RTD's compliance letter and response <br /> to each of the items listed on the inspection report. <br /> Z. <br /> Item # 19, The stored absorbent that was labeled without an accumulation <br /> start date has been removed and new containers have been marked <br /> appropriately. Attached is a copy of the manifest and a draft letter to the <br /> Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC). <br /> Item # 20, All containers marked "empty daily" and used for daily oil <br /> accumulations are now additionally marked with a Hazardous Waste label <br /> correctly filled in with the appropriate information. Any unnecessary <br /> containers have been removed from service. <br /> Item # 22, Previous to this inspection we were not aware of this <br /> requirement and adjustments in our operations have been made as a result. <br /> See the attached letters to the DTSC. <br /> Item #32, All container labels have been marked with appropriate language <br /> as is appropriate for the hauling company currently used. <br /> Item #33, The container for the used "drained used oil filters" has been <br /> marked appropriately. <br /> Item #76, The Universal Waste light bulbs have been stored and labeled <br /> properly. <br />
