The drum is scheduled to be picked up by IWM. I spoke
with the consultant today all the arrangements hae been made so the drum will be picked up in the next
couple of weeks.
• Item#20150—It was determined the Accumulation Stan Date to be 5/18/10. The waste labels have been
properly filled out. The last time waste drums were picked up at this site was 5/13/10. Two empties were
dropped off at that time. So it is safe to say that an Accumulation Stan Date would be around 5/18110.
• Item#23—The used oil filter was placed in the solid waste drum.
• Item#30—Stratus Inc.,Dansk's consulant has removed the empty drums.
• Item 952—This issue was resolved on date of inspection. I have included a copy of the Hazardous Wane
Emergency Information with the Return to Compliance.
• Item#21—Completed on day of inspection. The tech from SSS stated the liquid was on the opposite side of
the sump from the sensors so the sensor wouldn't go into alarm. As per regulations the DO only has to open
STP sumps if an alarm has not been resolved.Tesoro does not allow our station employees to open the STP
sump lids because of the safety problems that can occurr from lifting the lids.
• Item#7—Copies of the missing work orders are included with this Return to Compliance and I have sent
copies to the Designated Operator to attach to the appropriate DO report.
• Item#18—Permits have been granted to replace the failed spill buckets. The replacement has been
scheduled for July 21,2010.
• Item#19—Completed on day of inspection by SSS.
• Permit Application for replacing the 91 fill sump sensor was applied for on 6/23/10,work completed on
6/22/10.
• Return to Compliance included.
Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at(559)585-8156 or email me at
Sandm.F.EdwardQtsocorpcom.
•
Sincerely yours,
Sandy Edwards
Environmental Compliance Administrator
Tesoro West Coast Companies, LLC
