Corrected on site: #52. #7 A full, unmarked, 55 gallon drum and a 1/3 full 55 gallon drum marked XD-3 Extra 15W-40 are stored in the locked up outside fenced storage area west of the car wash building. A determination has not been made if these items are a hazardous waste. Hazardous waste generators must make a California Code of Regulations Title 22 Hazardous Waste determination with any waste that is generated. Correct immediately. #20 A 55 gallon drum of solid hazardous waste did not have marked the accumulation start date. Containers of hazardous waste must be labeled with the following: 1. Hazardous Waste 2. Generator name & address 3. Contents 4. Hazardous Properties 5. Physical State 6. Accumulation Start Date. Correct Immediately. #23 1 observed a used oil filter stored in a plastic bag outside the east wall of the bathroom next to the liquid hazardous waste drum. It cannot be determined how long this waste has been on site. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed container, labeled as drained used oil filters, marked with an accumulation start date, and disposed of within 1 year. Correct immediately. Submit a copy of the disposal record to this office by 7-22-10. #30 Two unmarked empty 55 gallon drums are stored in the locked up outside fenced storage area west of the car wash. Empty drums larger than 5 gallons that used to contain hazardous material/waste must be labeled as empty, marked with an empty start date, and be managed properly within one year. Correct immediately. #50 A 55 gallon drum of solid hazardous waste did not have marked the accumulation start date. Small Hazardous Waste Generators must dispose of their hazardous waste within 180 days of the accumulation start date. It cannot be determined how long this waste has been on site. Correct immediately. Properly dispose of the solid hazardous waste per California Code of Regulations Title 22. Submit a copy of the disposal manifest to this office by 7-22-10.
