<br />"Water reactive" means having properties of, when contacted by water, reacting violently, generating extreme heat, burning, exploding or
<br />rapidly reacting to produce an ignitable, toxic or corrosive mist, vapor or gas.
<br />"Well" means any shaft or pit dug or bored into the earth, generally of a cylindrical form, and often walled with bricks or tubing to prevent
<br />the earth from caving in.
<br />"Well injection": (See "underground injection.")
<br />"X -bar chart" means a control chart for evaluating the process level or subgroup differences in terms of the subgroup average.
<br />"Zone of aeration" see "Unsaturated zone."
<br />"Zone of engineering control" means an area under the control of the owner or operator that, upon detection of a hazardous waste
<br />release, can be readily cleaned up prior to the release of hazardous waste or hazardous constituents to ground water or surface water.
